You will learn the fundamentals such as pre-flight preparation, takeoffs and landings, basic maneuvers, navigation, you will gain the privilege to operate an aircraft for personal and recreational purposes.

When it comes to flying you have to reach proficiency set by
the FAA. If you meet the standards at 40 hours, then you can
take the exam and earn the certificate.
Some students require more training than others and will not
finish with 40 hours.
